Scientific foundation – practical implementations
The Management Chain and Human Productivity Index (HPI) are based on extensive Finnish research database collected in 2009-2019. To study Management of Human Productivity we have seven national surveys with 2500 companies. More than 10.000 personal and over 200 company surveys were used to model Human Productivity. In addition, we have used more than 300 companies' income statements when analysing the financial value of Human Productivity in relation to management activity and Human Productivity.

In a survey of 160 companies, we found that excellent management practices were associated with a 3%-units better EBITDA. This compares with the same industry, that is, competitors. In terms of Human Productivity, we have found similar results - the difference in profitability and, through it, in operating profit is significant. |
